Winnipeg, MB - Nov. 24, 2003 - Red River College (RRC) has installed a chrome and tempered-glass donor recognition display designed by PlannedLegacy Inc., to honor corporations and individuals who contributed to their successful $4 million Vision Innovation Partnership (VIP) Campaign.
The display features donor names layered under tempered-glass panels, in a fashion that allows for ease of removal, updates and changes, and recognizes individual and corporate donors in a number of categories including: $1,000 to $9,999; $10,000 to $24,999; $25,000 to $99,999 and $100,000 plus. The display also includes the names of the Volunteer Cabinet.

”I love the look of the display," said Christina Barwinsky, Donor Relations Coordinator at RRC. "Planned Legacy worked hard to ensure the best possible look would be achieved, taking into account how the color of text used on the tempered glass panels would complement the color of the images used in the background.”
The 8' long by 5' tall display has a chrome valance and chrome slat at the bottom (both which protrude eight inches from the wall), and incorporates images from the various program areas that are taught in Building "A" at RRC, where the display is located.
"From a design aspect, the suggestions made by PlannedLegacy were instrumental in the success of the overall look and feel,” said Barwinsky. “The display brings together the various components in a very elegant manner. The perfect look for which to thank our donors."
Launched in 1997, the VIP Campaign raised funds for updates to the main health, sciences and technology building at RRC. The project included the development and renovation of state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories, as well as faculty and student support areas within the facility. The addition of technology was a key component of many of the individual projects. The Campaign was completed in March 2002.
