The University of Regina wanted to create a first-class interactive donor wall in recognition of 250 key donors, with capacity to double that number in the future.
The resulting donor wall created by Planned Legacy is a gorgeous interplay of layering, texture and light, fusing organic elements with a cutting edge touch-screen display. To soften and complement the heaviness of a brick and stone wall, designers selected rich materials and supple shapes. Four blue-green tempered glass panels are complemented by dark wood frames which symmetrically flank a center display incorporating the same materials, to house a large interactive LCD touch-screen.
The custom-programmed multimedia presentation that appears on the interactive LCD screen features a variety of modules that describe the University, its Donors, Alumni and Giving Opportunities as follows:
