Glens Falls Hospital Foundation chooses PlannedLegacy's TRIBUTE interactive donor recognition and campaign awareness system

Winnipeg, MB - March 4, 2003 - PlannedLegacy Inc., a leading developer of interactive recognition and campaign awareness systems for non-profit organizations, foundations and commercial enterprises, has been contracted by the Glens Falls Hospital Foundation of Glens Falls, NY to design and implement a plasma display screen-based TRIBUTE digital visual messaging system.

The system, which will be used to promote the Hospital's $65 million "Building A New Glens Falls Hospital" capital campaign, will also recognize contributors and sponsors while additionally acknowledging volunteers and key staff members. A significant aspect of the Glens Falls project will be the integration of highlights from a video production which the Hospital produced to market its capital campaign and, which will now be used to reinforce the plasma display's onscreen message.

Marshall Posner, PlannedLegacy President, described the Glens Falls project as being a perfect example of the flexibility and utility of the TRIBUTE system.

"Glens Falls is a sophisticated and growing hospital, but it is also a community resource to which residents turn for all manner of care," he said. "With TRIBUTE, the hospital can continue to convey its message with dynamic, multimedia messaging, while building awareness and support for its current campaign."

The TRIBUTE system to be installed features a high definition 42-inch plasma display that will be located prominently at the Hospital's entrance. Designed to generate awareness and participation in the capital campaign and to provide information and updates on special events and community announcements, TRIBUTE will use dramatic multimedia imagery and effects for maximum impact. Some of the planned topic areas include:

• the history of Glens Falls Hospital

• gold, silver and bronze level contributors

• an animated campaign meter that can quickly and easily be updated by Foundation staff

a community billboard that can promote upcoming fundraising events
Glens Falls Hospital is an acute care facility serving the predominantly rural region of Warren, Washington, Hamilton, Essex and northern Saratoga counties in upstate New York.
